Alternate Credit & Credit Recovery Options
AMES requires more credits for completion of high school (27.5) than other high schools in Utah. AMES also places a priority on preparing students for successful transition to college. But we all know that sometimes mistakes are made and credits need to be made up. If you are in the position of needing to make-up a grade for graduation, wanting to replace a grade, or take a class to free up some room in your schedule next year you have several options. Before you choose an option you must know what term and what subject you need. Please consult with your counselor before signing up for a course.
The following is a list of the year-long credit recovery options that are recommended by the AMES counselors
AMES Credit Recovery If you need to recover credit, you will be able to make this up through AMES. This is an online, self-paced program. There is a $30 cost for the program and spots are limited.
